History of Suzuki Carry Trucks

Above on the page there're some Service PDF Manuals with Electric Wiring Diagrams for SUZUKI Pick-up Trucks.

A light truck called Suzuki Carry Every has been produced by the Japanese company of the same name since 1961.

There are several variations of the truck, but the Suzuki Carry Pickup version has become the most common.

The truck is offered with rear or all-wheel drive.

In various countries, the production of the truck in question is carried out under different brands, including Chevrolet, Daewoo, Ford.

The enlarged version of the truck has a power unit with 4 cylinders, with a capacity of 82 hp, with an engine volume of 1.3 liters.

The truck was equipped with a 2-stroke power unit for 2 cylinders. Its power at that time was only 15 hp with an engine volume of 360 cc.

In the late 60-s, the production of compact Suzuki Carry vans began.

The further development of the Japanese company in the field of trucks came down to the constant improvement and modernization of existing versions.

The Suzuki ST 20 B van and the ST 20 K flatbed truck appeared, which were based on the Suzuki Alto light version.

It is worth noting that Suzuki Carry light truck could only be bought in such a phrase in an export version.

Since 1999, it was possible to purchase a model designed for off-road driving in Europe.

The truck is equipped with a manual transmission with 5 steps, a fully independent suspension, a gasoline engine with 16 valves with a volume of 1,300 cc and a power of 78 hp.

Since the mid-60s of the last century, a glazed version of the Suzuki Carry Truck 4 WD has been produced.

The 2-nd and 3-rd generations of the truck in question were produced almost in parallel.

They differed in design and location of the power unit. The carrying capacity of the machine reached 350 kg.

The most popular and sought after models were the Suzuki Carry Van and the L 20 pickup truck.

Commercial success came to this brand with the 4-th generation.

The 5-th modification went into mass production in 1972.

The 9-th generation was produced mainly for internal use.

The following 3 modifications are divided into 4-wheel or rear-wheel drive trucks, the most used at the moment. Years of release: 1999-2013.
